The advent of NewSpace is driving new applications, transforming the space industry, and pushing legacy players to adapt their strategies in response to the numerous initiatives led by new entrants, digital players, startups, and major clients over the past decade. This strategic and high-impact sector, now more accessible than ever, presents a vast array of opportunities that French space industry players must seize in a race that has become inherently global.
In just four seasons, the Assises du NewSpace - French NewSpace Summit has become the essential gathering point where the future of France’s new space economy is shaped. With innovation at its core, this event fosters discussions and debates, bringing together key stakeholders and end users from the space ecosystem through roundtables, workshops, and keynotes covering four key themes: new applications and customer insights, innovation, the new economy, and French and European space policy. A special focus is given to the new generation of entrepreneurs, who are enriching the French space ecosystem and pushing the boundaries of possibility within the Spacetech Village.
These two days of conferences are part of a large-scale initiative driven by a collective of 18 major organizations representing the French space ecosystem. This collective led the democratic process that resulted in the publication of the first French report dedicated to NewSpace.
A part of NewSpace’s future depends on the initiatives and measures that will be designed and shared during this event—and, more broadly, as part of this national project.
